Jude Aneke (born April 23, 1990 in Enugu) is a Nigerian forward playing for KAA Gent in Belgium.
He started his career with local side Mgbo Ambassadors while a Political Science student at Ebonyi State University. From there he was signed by Ebonyi Angels F.C. until the team moved to Anambra State and became Anambra United[2].
Aneke joined Kaduna United during the 2009-10 season from lower division side Anambra United and scored 20 goals in all competitions (12 goals in the NPL and eight in the Federation Cup) as the Crocodiles won their first trophy in team history.
In November 2011, Aneke broke the 1-year old record of Ahmed Musa by scoring his 19th and 20th goal in league play.[3] A week later, he was called up to the Nigeria national football team to replace an injured Peter Odemwingie.[4]
In December 2011, Aneke signed a two-year contract with Gent[5].
